What is the data protection act?
The Data Protection Act 1998 requires companies and individuals who process and retain information about their customers to tell the customer how the information will be used, and to what purposes it will be used. The Act does not restrict itself only to information kept on a computer; it is relevant to any electronic or paper data storage system.
The information we collect and how we use it
By registering your application you agree that your details may be held, processed and disclosed within MBDA for the sole purpose of MBDA recruitment and for compliance with applicable laws and regulations to which MBDA is subject.
The information contained in your application may be used by MBDA to confirm references, security clearances, verify educational background, and for any purpose regarding your application and our requirements.
We do not ask you to disclose any more information than is reasonably necessary to enable us to process your job application.

MBDA follow strict security procedures in the storage of information you have given us and will hold the information you submit for recruitment processes and information for the recruitment process for up to 12 months, at which point it will be destroyed if you are unsuccessful during the recruitment process.
Like many websites, when you visit this website we may issue a 'cookie'. Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers, essentially unique codes that allow us to recognise you as a returning visitor, but that do not give us any personal information on you beyond that which you have previously supplied us with. Cookies tell us how often people visit our site, and which pages are most popular. This allows us to make informed decisions on what the user wants to see when we update and improve our site. If you don't want us to be able to do this, your browsers help section should be able to tell you how you can disable or filter cookies.
