WorldSkills is a global competition where people can compete to become the greatest in the World at their chosen skill.

Over the four days, people will be competing for medals in 46 categories, in sectors ranging from: Health to Agriculture, Construction to Retail, ICT to Art and (of course) Engineering and Manufacturing Technologies. One of our own ex-apprentices, Andrew Fielding, will be competing in the UK team for Electronics and MBDA are sponsoring the electronics stand.

Along with sponsoring the electronics stand, MBDA also has two other stands at the event. A Corporate stand, location: EX25 and a 'Have a Go' stand, location: HAG280.

There will be 'Have a Go' activities happening all around the ExCel centre, where visitors can try out a new skill for themselves. Come and visit the MBDA 'Have a Go' stand and try out the following for yourself:
• Electronics - Soldering
• Mechanical Badge Presses
• Electronic Fault Finding
• Mechanical Robots
• Building a Missile on CAD Software.
