MBDA's Charity Dinner raises £210,000

​MBDA's Charity Dinner helped raise a stonking £210,000 for good causes this year.

More than 500 people, made up of MBDA colleagues and representatives from our customers, suppliers, shareholders and partners came together for the event, which was compered by TalkSport's Mark Saggers.


Guest of Honour was Chief of the Air Staff, Sir Stephen Hillier, who received the cheque on behalf of the charities, while comedian and impressionist Jon Culshaw was the celebrity guest. Charity speakers included Mike Goody from the RAF Benevolent Fund and Shona Davies from MIND in Mid Hertfordshire.

The proceeds from the evening will be shared between the following charities:

- The Royal Navy and the Royal Marines Charity

- The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund

- ABF The Soldier's Charity

- Wigan and Leigh Hospice

- Derian House

- Age UK Bristol


- Mind in Mid Hertfordshire

- Up on Downs

The evening included both silent and live auctions for a host of great prizes, a raffle and prize boards featuring the opportunity to win a Top Gun experience, a London hotel and Michelin starred restaurant stay, and Friday Night Live at the Ritz.
