Structured training will include work placements in a variety of disciplines such as:

  • Mechanical Design
  • Structural Analysis
  • Environmental Engineering & Test
  • Materials & Processes

Training in the use of tools (such as Pro Engineer, Nastran, Patran and MS Office) will be provided as necessary, but previous experience would be advantageous.

Undergraduates are assigned a mentor who is a Chartered Engineer and the training scheme is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, allowing undergraduates to follow the Institution’s Monitored Professional Development Scheme route to Membership.

Academic Background

Working towards an MEng degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science.
