Who is MBDA? 

MBDA is a leading provider of missiles and missile systems to each branch of the UK military, as well as those of many of its allies. 

It’s the sovereign responsibility of our governments and armed forces to defend our nations against any threats to ensure our freedom, safety and security, and as a leading company in the defence industry we support our nations by delivering essential military capabilities, both for today and the future.

Our work helps protect our people, armies and nations - helping secure a safer tomorrow for everyone. At MBDA, we‘re doing this together:  As individuals, as a team, as a directorate, as a national company and as an European group.

 

Where are the MBDA UK sites?

MBDA UK has three primary sites: Stevenage, Bristol and Bolton. We also have corporate offices in London, and other smaller sites around the UK such as Henlow (Hertfordshire).

Our Locations

Bolton

Bolton is home to our state-of-the-art manufacturing site.

Here you will find skilled Fitters, Engineers, Procurement specialists and many more dedicated teams helping us deliver our products in time and to the highest standards.  

Located just a short drive from Bolton, Wigan, Horwich and Chorley, the site is an easy commute for many, and has a subsidised restaurant on site, using fresh, seasonal ingredients to produce nutritional and delicious dishes.

Stevenage

Our UK head office is located in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

With Stevenage train station just a few minutes walk away, and our site just a few minutes drive from the A1(M), our people come to work from towns in every direction. 

MBDA Stevenage has a campus-like community feel to it, with all the facilities you need on site including ample parking, a coffee shop, and a large cafeteria serving nutritious, seasonal meals every day. 

We also have an on-site (subsidised) gym, and a range of sports and social clubs to join.

Bristol

Our MBDA operations in the South West are based in Filton, Bristol.

A 25-minute drive from the city centre and short walk from Filton Abbeywood station, our Filton office has a subsidised canteen and coffee bar on-site, offering a range of healthy, fresh, homemade dishes.

International Offices

In addition to our UK sites, MBDA has offices in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Poland; as well as smaller satellite sites around the globe.   

Other UK Sites

The below sites can be found in the UK, but due ot their smaller size do not recruit as often as Stevenage, Bristol and Bolton.

Henlow: We have a few small teams based at our site in Henlow (Hertfordshire) who focus primarily on manufacturing and production. 

London: Our small London offices near Covent Garden are used mainly by our directorate, and for occasional meetings.
