MBDA UK Recognition Awards 2026

Every year at MBDA UK, we take time to recognise and celebrate our teams and individual employees who have embodied our company values and gone above and beyond in their roles.

Nominations for the awards themselves are led by our own employees, and this event is just one of the ways that we make sure excellence is acknowledged and rewarded across the business.

Award categories 

The UK Recognition Awards celebrate excellence across four categories aligned to our values:

The Business Awards - recognising the effort, commitment and expertise of our teams.

Our People Awards - recognising individuals who have gone above and beyond, both within the business and in their local community.

Early Careers Programmes - celebrating the achievements of our early careers talent.

Academic and Professional Qualifications - recognising colleagues who have shown exceptional dedication to their professional development.

June Celebrations

This year’s celebration event for our winners took place on a sunny evening in June, with over 700 MBDA employees invited to attend.

Speaking at the event, Managing Director UK, Chris Allam said:

“We’ve got 750 brilliant people from the UK business who have all won awards. It’s a great event, with MBDA coming together as a family and celebrating what we do… away from the serious day to day business.

I just to say thank you to everybody, for everything that you do.”

A great event for all

Our celebrations (once again) proved a big hit with all in attendance; with many happy people enjoying activities like dodgems and inflatable axe throwing, or listening to live music with a pizza or drink in hand.
