An opportunity has arisen to join an expanding BS&I Cyber Security team in the Procurement & Supply Chain domain and will act as the Cyber Security Officer and respond to the needs of MBDA UK, MBDA Group and Customer requirements.
Salary: Circa £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
The Business Solutions and Improvement (BS&I) organisation is responsible for providing expertise and support services to the MBDA Procurement & Supply Chain Directorates to maximise business performance. The aim of the expanding Cyber Security team within BS&I is to manage the cyber risk that could affect the Procurement & Supply Chain Management activities to ensure the availability and confidentiality of the products and services supplied. Reporting to the Procurement and Supply Chain Cyber Security Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with internal procurement and supply chain teams and functions and carrying out Cyber risk assessments of companies external to MBDA.

An understanding of procurement and supply chain tools and methodologies
Strong commercial and financial understanding
Excellent communication skills
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
High level of computer literacy and proficient in the use of Microsoft office tools for analysing and communicating purposes.
Track record of success in project management
Experience of working in a complex international matrix environment.
Awareness of incident management practices is desirable.
Whilst not essential, one of the following qualifications is highly desirable:
CISMP – Certificate In Information Security Management Principles
CISM – Certified Information Security Manager
ISO27001 Lead Auditor
ISO27005 Certificated Security Risk Manager
CSMP – Certified Security Management Professional
Whilst not essential, understanding/experience of UK MoD Defence Conditions would be beneficial.
