An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Customer Support and Services (CSS) business area, for a Product Support Manager for the Future Anti-Surface Guided Weapon (FASGW) (Sea Venom). Having recently entered service and achieved IOC, Sea Venom is at a pivotal stage of its life cycle as End-Users start to build experience and knowledge of the Product. We are looking for a passionate individual to lead the In-Service Support which will be critical to enable the customer to reach Full Operational Capability (FOC).
Salary: Up to £65,000 depending on experience
Dynamic working: Variable but 1-2 days per week on-site would be beneficial to build effective joint working between departments and with our customers.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
An opportunity has arisen within our Customer Support and Services business area, for a Product Support Manager to ensure delivery of In-Service Support for the Future Anti-Surface Guided Weapon (FASGW) (Sea Venom).
The successful candidate will take the lead in ensuring all product support activities are planned, managed and delivered in a manner which satisfies not only our contractual obligations but at all times maintains MBDA reputation throughout the product In-Service Lifecycle.
This opportunity will give you considerable scope to improve programme management skills, develop Customer facing skills and promote your profile internationally within MBDA.
What we're looking for from you:
- A broad based engineering background, a degree level qualification in a numerate / technical discipline would be beneficial, with substantial knowledge and experience support of Weapons Systems.
- Understanding of the technical and logistics requirements of different customers and awareness of their cultures
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders across the business
- Passion and commitment to delivering high levels of customer service
- Prioritisation and ability to deal with multiple issues on a regular basis
- Effective planning of support work, from supply chain through to customer delivery
- Strategic thinking enabling CSS to support the product through its life cycle
