Salary: Circa £52,000 to £55,000 depending on experience. Pro-rated for FTC

This is a great opportunity to work as an Senior OHA to lead a fantastic established multidisciplinary OH team who work across UK sites (Stevenage, Bristol and Bolton).
As a key member of the Occupational Health team and reporting to the clinical OH Manager , you will be supporting delivery of evidence-based practice and guidance on issues pertaining to OH clinical governance and HSE compliance across the UK business. On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for supporting the clinical team providing operational oversight to ensure the smooth running of the OH Department.
Provide line management and support to the OH Team including supporting the continuing professional development of the OH team.
You will undertake clinical quality audits, clinical support as required and undertake clinical complaints analysis and deputise for the Head of Occupational Health if required.
You will contribute to the success and growth of our OH Department and enable us to have a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of our MBDA employees.
You will be passionate about promoting the organisation's values to enable OH to meet its agreed aims and objectives within a safe, efficient and effective working environment.
The overarching priority is to ensure clinical governance is at the forefront of everything we do.
- Ensure the ongoing smooth running of our current service, including day to day operational issues that arise and working closely with the OH Office Administrator.
- Provide line management and support to the OH Team.
- Co-ordinate provision of health information systems along with Head of OH&W and OH Office Administrator
- Review projects for improvements
- Understand and analyse data from the OH system
- Carry out regular appraisal and performance reviews with your team setting business and personal objectives; in order to develop, motivate, coach and build the best team.
- Build successful relationships and ensure regular effective communication with stakeholders.
- Undertake quality audits in accordance with current processes
- Ensure training is coordinated in a timely and efficient fashion including planning and organisation mandatory training and staff development
- Ensure all new members of staff receive a full induction and training appropriate for their role.
- Oversight of team meetings.
What we need from you:
- Demonstrable experience of delivering evidence based clinical practice within a fast paced occupational health environment
- Experience and skills for working within a manufacturing company
- Ability to support the existing, established OH team with day to day clinical guidance and support across multiple sites
- Manage and support day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the business on a daily basis.
- Be dependable, and a reassuring influence for both OH Service users and the OH team
- Serve as a role model to demonstrate appropriate MBDA behaviours and Values.
- Participate in department meetings and continually communicate in a clear and consistent way
- Maintain a clinical workload as directed by the Head of Occupational Health
