MBDA are looking for a Business Support Administrator to support our Programmes area
Salary: Circa £24,500 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 full days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
To support a team within one of our current Programmes, whilst learning new skills and having the opportunity to be a part of a fantastic team. In this role you will undertake specific projects/responsibilities/admin tasks for senior managers within the Programme. You will be required to be proactive in managing a busy workload and will work on your own initiative on some occasions.
A good level of organisational skills, resilience, communication, attention to detail and the desire to learn and develop your skill set are key to success in this role. As this will be a Level 1 role, you will be required to undertake relevant training, development sessions and will need to actively improve by self-learning.
The Role
- Will be based on our Bristol site, however, flexibility to travel across sites may be required very occasionally.
- Delivering high level administrative and business support to an existing busy programme.
- Create and maintain MS Excel spread sheets, PowerPoint presentations, MS word documents accurately and assist with reports that are sent directly to our clients internal and external.
- Providing core support, such as Travel arrangements and expenses, organise technical meetings, events, data analysis/reporting, procurement activities, document maintenance and information gathering. These tasks may be varied and ad-hoc in scope.
- Work collaboratively with other support team members to complete team-based tasks and projects.
- The role requires a high level of accountability, integrity, resilience and the ability to work within a team.
- Understanding and utilising MBDA systems and tools and being a ‘go to' team member within the programme.
- Assist the programme to optimise efficiency throughout the business.
- Develop to become the knowledge point of contact within the programme you are supporting.
- Encouraging collaborative working and knowledge sharing across departments.
