Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer - Graduate Programme 2027

Salary: £31,900 plus a £3000 joining bonus
Dynamic (Hybrid) Working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
This role is scheduled to close for applications at midnight on Monday 2nd November 2026 but may close earlier depending on application volumes.

The opportunity:
The Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Radiation Effects (RE) department is split between a test team working hands on in our state-of-the-art EMC facility to simulate environments, and a highly skilled project consultancy team that is embedded across all projects within MBDA to ensure good EMC practice & design.
You'll gain experience within both teams, including hands on testing of MBDA's missiles, subsystems and equipment in our accredited EMC Test Facility. Our facilities are amongst the best in the world and include 3 anechoic and 2 reverberation chambers - with capabilities to be further increased through a brand-new test facility, opening in 2027!
This programme is structured to also provide you the opportunity to get involved in what we do elsewhere in the company. Depending on your preference, this could include being based at one of our other UK sites in Stevenage and Bolton.
The role will allow you to work within a technically challenging area of MBDA, and at the end of the programme you'll move in to one of the teams you've experienced.

What we're looking for from you:
Degree qualified in EMC / Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Physics or a related field to a minimum of 2:2
