An exciting opportunity has arisen within Integration and Systems Validation (ISV) within missile Compatibility/Integration for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who is looking to broaden their skills within a multiple disciplined team.
Salary: Up to £40-46K + bonus + benefits
Dynamic working: 5 days per week on-site typically, due to workload classification and lab based nature of work
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

As a Proving Engineer, your role will be to plan, prepare, conduct and report on missile and sub-system integration/system proving activities within a laboratory based environment.
As part of the Meteor ISV team you would have the opportunity to work on an exciting, high performance product and to develop and broaden your technical skills by working within a dynamic proving team. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively with other areas of MBDA including Systems and Software project teams.
What we're looking for from you:
High performing teams need high performing and competent individuals. Individuals will be able to demonstrate a number of the following attributes:
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in an appropriate engineering subject.
- Good understanding of hardware/software integration and test activities
- Familiarity using general commercial Lab test equipment.
- Familiarity using data analysis tools/methods.
- An appreciation of electronics technologies and the sorts of products that MBDA design and produces would be an advantage.
- The creativity and practicality to work with complex problems and derive logical solutions.
- Adaptability and innovation in a varied and often fast-paced role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to manage a small team
