An exciting role for a Chamber Manager to join the team and manager our new state of the art anechoic test facility!
Salary: Circa £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: typically 5 days per week on-site due to workload classification and use of facility
Security Clearance: British Citizen required. Must be willing to undergo the DV clearance process.
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
The Anechoic Chamber Manager will be responsible for both the management of the facility and working with project teams to execute test campaigns.
This new multi-million pound test facility will be key to MBDA's work, testing antenna performance and assessing RCS.
Day to day you'll be involved in managing the booking of the facility, it's budget and maintenance. Working closely with the project teams you'll be supporting the planning of test campaigns as well as supporting test data capture and analysis.
With your knowledge and previous experience you'll be providing advice of capabilities and interfacing as well as leading and taking part in chamber configuration activities.
What we're looking for from you:
Experience with lab or facility based radiated RF testing - This may come from work assessing antenna characteristics, EMC, RCS or other electromagnetic field based measurements.
Experience in first level technical investigations in to issues with facility performance, provide problem assessments, and propose solutions.
Experience with reconfiguring equipment, including using lifting and slinging, is beneficial.
Knowledge of health and safety compliance
Strong organisational skills and experience in the test domain.
Able to work autonomously within a multi-skilled team
