Business Apprentice shortlisted for national Multicultural Apprenticeship Award

Tuesday 27 June 2023

We are celebrating more awards success for one of our Business apprentices, as Alisha Kasobya has been shortlisted for a Multicultural Apprenticeship Award.

Alisha has been nominated for the Management, Legal & Professional Services Apprentice of the Year award, and is one of 130 apprentices shortlisted across the 12 apprentice awards. Overall, the awards received nominations for 400+ apprentices.

Reacting to the news of her shortlisting Alisha said;

“Being selected as a finalist has been such an honour and significant personal achievement in my professional career. The opportunities MBDA have given me have enabled me to excel and develop rapidly within my last two years in the business.”

Making the final in their nominated category also puts all shortlisted finalists in with a chance of over overall Apprentice of the Year award.

The Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards aims to showcase talent and diversity within multicultural communities through the celebration of those working hard to overcome adversity to achieve their goals through apprenticeships.

As well as highlighting the achievements of apprentices, the awards recognise the contribution of employers and learning providers who have assisted them along their journey.

The finals will take place on the 5th October 2023 in Birmingham.

Good luck Alisha!
