Wednesday 30 November 2022
We are pleased to celebrate the success of one of our apprentices, Georgia D’Ath, who won the East of England Advanced Apprentice of the Year 2022 in the National Apprenticeship Awards.
The awards recognises apprentices who have made a real difference to their workplace and entrants had to demonstrate the impact their apprenticeships had made to their life and their workplaces.
Following her win Georgia said, “The win was definitely a surprise to me, I went in not expecting anything and my participation was down to my NVQ manager’s encouragement, so I am extremely grateful for the award!”
Reflecting on her win Georgia added. “I would not be where I am without my friends, family, my colleagues in the team I work in and my NVQ manager John Cook, they all have been so helpful and supportive, but mostly patient! ”
In nominating Georgia, her NVQ Manager, John Cook from Alliance Learning, said,
“Georgia’s development on her Apprenticeship has been exceptional. On many occasions Georgia was faced with personal and work challenges that she found very demanding but she has never ever given up, has taken feedback and advice on board and then put it into practice to good effect.”
Georgia and eight other regional winners now go through to national final with the winner being announce at a ceremony on 30th November 2022.
