MBDA to Exhibit at the Women in Business & Tech Expo 2022

MBDA are happy to announce that we will be exhibiting and hosting a speaker session at the 2022 Women in Business & Tech Expo in October, at the Excel,  London.

The event, taking place across two days (12th-13th October), will be headlined by Baroness Karren Brady CBE, in addition to a packed schedule of speakers offering insights and practical advice to attendees. Numerous businesses / employers will be showcasing their offering at the event too.

MBDA’s Head of Design Skill Capabilities (Electronic Engineering), Liz Carr, will be speaking in the Women in STEM Theatre about Unconscious Bias in the Workplace.

Attendees can hear about Liz’s own experiences and lessons learned throughout her career, as well as Liz’s advice to others on how to “engage in meaningful conversations that move us towards working environments with a culture of emotional safety and empowerment for Women in Business and Tech.”

Liz is the first female Engineer to reach an executive position within the Electronic Engineering Function at MBDA UK, managing approximately 50 people. She is also a co-chair of GEN-EQ, our gender equality network. You can find out more about our inclusion networks on our Belonging page. You can also read more about Liz’s career on the WIBTE Speakers page

Employees and recruiters from MBDA UK will also be at hand on stand B28 across both days to discuss careers and opportunities with us. Explore our website for current vacancies
