An exciting role for an experienced and delivery focussed Engineer to join the Missile Architecture function.
Job Title: Design Support to Production Architect
Salary: Circa £40,000 - £46,00
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
The Missile Architecture function has an interesting role for an experienced Engineer to support the design support activities within a missile project team where you will bethe go-to facilitator point between manufacturing and project teams, working in an ambiguous and innovative environment.
The role will be at the centre of the Design and Production interface, providing Design Support to all phases (CADMID) on Missile, equipment's and/or Launcher Assembly, Integration and Test, assisting RMO's and Design Authorities on the main programme and Centre of Excellences, working with Quality Assurance, RMO's, Design Authorities, Centre of Excellences and Manufacturing.
As a key member of the team you will play a crucial role in ensuring delivery on time, on cost, and on quality for Manufacturing/Delivery milestones, championing 'Every Day Counts'. You'll be working within a high performing team of Architects to support design improvements and aid in manufacture.
What we're looking for from you:
Significant experience of supporting manufacture, MBDA product knowledge and MBDA ways of working
Have a good understanding of manufacturing systems, processes and requirements.
Motivated, self-starter.
Team player as part of an integrated MBDA UK Project team.
Note that training will be provided to support you in delivery of the role and ensure your ongoing technical and personal development
qualifications, HNC/D or equivalent with significant experience or Degree with experience in a relevant discipline
