Salary: Circa £43.000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 4-5 days per week on-site due to workload classification

The opportunity:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven individual to step into the role of Manufacturing UK Certification Auditor. This is a vital position within our quality management system, responsible for ensuring that all stamp holders are adhering to established procedures and standards. This role offers a great opportunity to contribute directly to our commitment to excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations.
As the Certification Auditor, you will conduct annual audits across all Certification Stamp Holders (currently circa 700), verifying that the required processes are being followed. You'll also be responsible for maintaining thorough and accurate audit records, supporting both internal reviews and external compliance requirements.
What we're looking for from you:
- L3 Engineering Apprenticeship Standard, or Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship Framework + L3 Knowledge-Based Qualification (e.g. Diploma) + L3 Competency-Based Qualification (e.g. NVQ)
- ISO 9001 Internal / Lead Auditor Qualification
- Desirable - A good knowledge of EN 9001:2015 requirements and the key principles of a QMS
- A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and certification requirements
- Proven attention to detail, with a commitment to following procedures and identifying gaps or inconsistencies
- The ability to conduct fair, objective, and consistent audits
- Strong recordkeeping and documentation skills
- Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across departments
- A proactive mindset with a drive to uphold and improve quality and compliance standards
