MBDA are looking for a Mergers and Acquisitions Manager to lead specific Merger & Acquisition projects and activities, ensuring that they are coordinated, planned and managed to completion!
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2 - 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
In this pivotal role, you will spearhead MBDA's strategic mergers and acquisitions efforts, working closely with our financial, legal, and operational teams to drive transformative deals across our key markets in France, the UK, Italy, Germany, and beyond.
As the architect of these strategic initiatives, you will manage the end-to-end process of M&A projects—from feasibility assessment through to successful integration. Your role will involve conducting in-depth due diligence, orchestrating complex negotiations, and preparing critical documentation to secure necessary approvals from regulatory authorities. With a focus on innovation and strategic development, you will play a key part in shaping the future growth trajectory of MBDA, establishing yourself as a crucial player in a company that is at the forefront of the global defence industry.
What we're looking for from you:
- Experience/interest in Aerospace & Defence
- Experience in medium/small sized transactions
- Preferably M&A advisory / banking experience, fall back accounting firms' transaction services, private equity
- Strong project management skills and knowledge
- Interdisciplinary skills with good financial / legal education and understanding
- Managing approach to deal with complex problems and issues at senior corporate level
- Good knowledge of MBDA business and European market / competitors, would be desirable
- Ability to travel to France 1 - 2 per month and further travel possibly required to our other NatCos
