The Transformation Project Manager works with a dynamic high performing to team to develop and provide a focused approach to Project Management. Your expertise will be utilised on transformation projects / programmes in a consistent way to ensure the successfully delivery of key Change Programmes across MBDA.
Salary: Circa £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
The Transformation Manager plays a meaningful role working within the Transformation & Improvement Directorate specifically working as part of a central Operational Excellence Team to develop and provide a focused approach to Project Management, whilst being mindful of the importance of a structured approach to Change Management. This expertise is utilised on transformation projects/programmes in a consistent way using the Transformation & Improvement Directorate agreed standard methods and tools.
Working largely on deployment where durations will vary based on the size and complexity of each project/ programme, the Transformation Managers will be partly or fully seconded to the Transformation & Improvement Programme Delivery Lead or deputy whilst on deployment.
The role sets out to develop a number of core programme themes: coordinated plans that enable timely delivery of projects whilst handling dependencies with other initiatives; lead the effective deployment of T&I resources within their projects to improve business outcomes; handle collaborators internationally in relation to their projects; ensure the outcomes required are achieved and actively handle the quantifiable realisation of benefits. The Transformation Manager also provides monthly dashboard reports and effectively communicate any changes in scope, and expected delivery.
Effectively handle PMO tools (i.e. RAIDS logs) and or Change Management tools and record and handle any resulting actions to ensure effective management of activities delegate by the Delivery Programme Lead and address programme shortfalls where necessary. They feed into existing governance structures and contribute to additional forums where appropriate to handle project delivery.
